What is AOD-9604
AOD-9604 is a synthetic fragment of the C-terminal portion (amino acids 176-191) of growth hormone, designed to stimulate lipolysis and inhibit lipogenesis without the effects of GH on blood glucose or tissue growth. In phase II clinical trials conducted by Metabolic Pharmaceuticals, it showed a favorable safety profile, although significant weight loss in humans remains limited.
