What is Kisspeptin-10

Kisspeptin-10 is the active fragment of the KISS1 gene product and acts at the KISS1R receptor (GPR54) in hypothalamic neurons, serving as a key trigger for GnRH release. Clinical studies at Imperial College demonstrated that administration stimulates LH/FSH and modulates cerebral sexual responses. It is being investigated in infertility, hypothalamic amenorrhea, and sexual function.
